Principal 's Message Some years ago it was not uncommon to give a book or a magazine a secondary or descriptive title. In such case I would suggest '4Nostalgia as an alternate for our Le Racon- teur. Because, in the years to come, as you linger through its pages you will long a little to live again some of the days of Westdale '61. You will, in pleasant memory, move once more in the familiar places, enter the old rooms, hear the familiar sounds, greet the good friends, listen to the teachers and absorb the precepts of discipline and right living - in short, be part again of the pulsing life of the school where you grew up. Growing up, in fact, from childhood to the assumption of responsible citizenship, has been a heavy charge on all our responsibilities. May you have derived assistance and satis- faction from the experience. I wish to commend all those, staff and students who prepared and published this magazine, for their invaluable contribution to the history and tradition of this school. 7
