Cheerleading: a gear of unusual enthusiasm Unusual enthusiasm encompassed the student body at Westchester and kept our school in uncontrollable excitement for each sports season. Our cheerleaders for the year 1972 were met face-to-face with the most spirit every seen at Westchester. Dealing with this spirit involved pep rallies, poster contests, wrapping houses, and yelling tonsils out at games.
