Immense Wildcat spirit overcome bg Killeen Senior girls' wrapping houses, all-day pep rallies, good luck telegrams from Conroe, Spring Woods, and Memorial, all put together, created a special atmosphere for Westchester's first and only trip past district competition. As Wildcat buses rolled into College Station - Kyle Field, both teams and their fans were filled with high expectations for their Bi-District skirmish. One team was to feel the disappointment of the loss, Unfortunately for us, the Wildcats were defeated 28-18. Killeen scored on along run dovvn the field on the third play of the game. By half-time, we were trailing 28-6. On a long pass from Carl Menger C33 to Bo Dunphy C841 6 points were added to our score, but the team was only able to get 18 points by the end of the fourth quarter. The team ended its season 10-1 and left Westchester fans proud of the Wildcats. Right: Chester West C!-Xian Schooleyj helps the cheerleaders set the mood.
