A new September—a new school ee a ey year—a new attitude. The months pass quickly strangers seeking friendship, happiness and by and the color of the leaves and the drop of the thermometer readings bring realization of an eae event close at hand. We leave wishing good : Cr will and cheer to all we encounter. Then the time arrives. The sun sets on 1969 and rises the next morning to cast shadows off arches set against a new sky. A 1970 sky. A new morning— Ber oo GS a new year—a new decade. Gone forever are the 1960’s—they remain only in textbooks and mem- ories. We must look to the present—1970. For some it means graduation and progression into another world, for others just the road leading to it. These thoughts lie dormant in our minds until that last 3:30 on May 29, 1970. We pass once more through our three arches, stand to reflect on the year past and then rush off with thoughts of expectations for the summer and the new year.
