Basic Skills | Taught To Young Homemakers The Home Economics Department continued to offer girls the opportunity to learn the basics for being a homemaker this year. Sew- ing, cooking and individual achievement were stressed, both at school and at home. Most im- portant was for each girl to gain the valuable experience the courses had to offer.

Musical Performances Outstanding In 1970 The traditional high standard of excellence in the Music Department continued this year. The bands, or- chestra and choirs encouraged the individual student to develop his talent and participate in state-wide competition. Performing for the student body and larger groups, including the P.T.A., was an important learning experience. Choir students rehearse for an upcoming program. The Hammerle Brass warms up for its next number.
