Moments Of Pride To excel is to achieve, to achieve is to bring recognition, to bring recognition is to instill pride. At WHS we have witnessed many moments of pride. We have reflected in the light of a masterpiece of architecture and watched the crown- ing of the Queen for whom the bonfire was dedicated. A feeling of pride shown in our eyes as we cheered V-I-C-T-O-R-Y after the Memorial game. Many trophy cases around the school are filled with the results of achievement and hard work which our different departments have strived for and captured. For’ some, achievement and pride come in the form of an ‘A on a Calculus K final, for others a winning score, and for many a year well-done.
