Exchange Students Make New Friends In AFS American Field Service brings the world to Westchester through guest speakers from many different countries. As AFS members became friends with the exchange students, Nabi Cerit and Margarita Hortiguela, they also learned about life in Turkey and Argen- tina. The club held a workshop for all the schools in the area, to discuss improving the clubs. Money was raised for next year’s foreign students through the annual talent show and a spring bond drive. Deutsch Verein Attends TAGS Convention The German Club, Deutsch Verein, pro- motes an interest in the language and the country through films and speakers from Lufthansa Airlines. The club spon- sored the annual Sangerfest at Christmas, which was followed by the German Club dinner in February. Members participated in the spring TAGS convention.
