Wranglerettes Rank Number I In Texas The Wranglerettes put in a full year with award winning perform- ances in contests at SMU, where they were named best all-around drill team and won the outstanding girl award. Hours of practice resulted in ten excel- lent half-time shows, participation in the Astronauts’ parade and a per- formance in Mexico. The Wrangler- ettes made a big hit in the Astro- dome at the Oiler-Cowboy game. An exciting year ended with their annual banquet and formal, paid for with revenue from Christmas cards, rib- bons, calendars, and candy sold dur- ing the year.
