June '87 was here and excitement was in the air, Everyone was tallsing aoout his or her summer plans, from ya- cations to parties, from summer joos to summer sports. Some of our students had the exper- ience of participating in a yery exciting trip to Germany. They stayed with host families for three weelss. Our students also visited German classrooms and went sight seeing around the country. Junior Danielle Benard stayed with the Weiss family. 'lt was a good experience to learn aoout another culture. Their way of life is auite different from ours. Seeing the cas- tles and sights that are hundreds of years old, one feels strange to lenow that histo- ry occured there, said Danielle.
