Student Government School spirit has been at its peak this year. The s dent body officers have been working diligently give Westchester the best leadership possible. S dent Government has been in charge of all spc rallies and worked with the Pep Club in giving We chester one of the finest card sections in the Weste League. The Howdy Hop, at the beginning of ec semester, gave everyone a chance to welcome 1 new BlO's. The traditional Homecoming game was planned the Commissioner of Girls' Athletics. Each year 1 alumni return to view the Homecoming activities. The Commissioner of Records and Trophies is charge of Winter Wonderland, the first formal dar of the year. This dance had the enthusiastic suppi of the entire student body. , Westchester's Student Body officers have lived to the standards set by previous student leaders a have made the past year a great success. Student Government Westchester High School's Student Court is one of the most important branches of the school's government, Patterned as closely as I possible after national courts of law, its SU m members consist of a Chief Justice and a iury of twelve students. Each semester the Chief Justice is elected by the Student Body. This year the jury of the court is comprised of members of various campus organizations. Knights and Ladies, G.A.L.S., Lettergirls, and Barristers, are among those clubs repre- sented. Next year Student Government will .yiy 1 gb.. .,,.. iff, 1r3'.,55f.,-??.,,.fij'5 act as the fury. 1'-4'-If Throughout the school, signs are posted : f'H7fv'fff Dt., which inform the student body of the of- fenses for which a citation will be issued. If a student receives such a summons, he is called before the Court, where his case is heard, and his sentence decided upon. Westchester High School's Student Court has functioned in an efficient and democratic manner, contributing greatly to the improve- ment of our campus conditions.
