SENIOR HIGH MATH CLUB The Senior High Math Club is a newly organized group which is interested in the many fascinating features of mathematics not usually dis- cussed in the classroom. This year the boys have studied the slide rule, and have en- tertained themselves with puzzles, games, tricks, and mathematical short-cuts. The members are: Mr. Lockett, spon- sor, P. Drake, R. THRIFT CLUB Mrs. Berry, Mr. Ressler, and Mr. Lockett are co-sponsors of the Thrift program of the school. The club conducts the sale of defense stamps, and plans for the obser- vation of National Fire Prevention Week, Thrift Week, Conservation Week, and Forest Fire Prevention Program. lt con- ducted an essay contest on The Import- ance of not Losing or Defacing School Books.
