Thrasher. 9 The Senate, under the sponsorship of Mr. Edward Cheetham, is the largest governing group in the school. Each member represents a homeroom in the senior high division of the school. The main objective of these representatives is to keep the Girls' League a fine and active organization of high standards. junior high government Pattie Smith, above, was the S '54 Junior High President. Serv- ing to the best of her ability, she equalled the fine work of The W'54 President, George Gostola. Linola Cook, above, took over the office of Jr. High Secretary from Sharon Kelly forthe Summer Semester. S'54 V.P. of the Junior High School, Linda Spaugh worked to her capacity in fulfilling the standards set by her predeces- sor Darlene Dobhrichan, VV'54 Vice-President. HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES These students represent the entire Junior High. Their work is on the sarne order as the Senior High Senate. They discuss certain problems of the School and pass bills per taining to the Junior High. 11
