(Euirnty-iffiue Urars of §cruices We, the 1983 graduating class of Westbury High School, would like to make note of sixteen special members of the Westbury High School Staff. Though every staff member has given to us a part of themselves, whether it be in a classroom, driver's ed car, woodshop, cafeteria or elsewhere, these celebrated sixteen have devoted, to us, more than twenty-five years from each of their lives. If calculated, that adds up to more than 400 years of service! Your contributions have mounted to immeasurable heights with quality that will not easily be matched. We wish to grant you, the most eminent members of the Westbury High School Staff, our sincerest gratitude, thanks and warm wishes for your next twenty-five! — You will never be forgotten. Mr. J. Allasio Miss J. Bogd Miss E. Bronner Mr. R. Coleman Mr. M. Dollar Mr. J. Fasano Mr. P. Gully Mrs. A. Holik Mr. J. Hotchkiss Mr. F. Korber Mr. E. Krinsky Mr. H. Kulchin Mr. G. Mallon Mr. A. Check this out! Hook me up with a soda! Wanna shoot some hoops? Where are the basketballs? Do I have to go swimming? Did you call that guy? When are you going to order the trophies? Do these statements sound familiar? v V Well, it takes much rrfore than average intelligence, patience, and understanding to put up with lines like these and others for over thir- teen years. And you did it with no complaints. You have always been there for us with your cheerful smile and concern and always with an open ear, all of which we couldn't have done without. It seems as if you are in about two-hundred pieces because you are all over, all the time, always helping us to strive to our limits. You are very special to us, and we love you for it! You have given to us the definition of an MVP many, many times over the past years. You have defined an MVP as one who gives 120% of his efforts to whatever he tries. You have exceeded this figure. We would like to show our sincere thanks and gratitude in dedicating this, the 1983 yearbook, to our MVP; our friend, teacher and Athletic Director, Mr. George E. Hull II. 27
