Those students who have never had you as a teacher have truly missed an experience. Your dry humor, your dissertations on life, your anger when we didn't do our assignments, your efforts to share with us an appreciation of life through art, music, and literature—all this has made you a person not easily forgotten. To those of us who have known you, however, you have become more than a teacher; we know you are someone in whom we can confide, from whom we can seek advice, and with whom we can share our dreams and aspirations. Although at the time we may not fully understand, nor appreciate your sincere concern for our welfare, we value your opinions because we know they are drawn from vast personal experience. You sometimes advise us against doing what we want to do, because you care about us. As you once told us, you will miss us when we graduate. We thank you for your feelings for us and for your twenty years of yearbook service, Mr. Joseph Raziano.

Votre esprit, vos discours de la vie, votre colere quand on n'a pas fait ses devoirs, vos efforts de partager avec nous une appreciation de la vie au moyen d'une connaissance de 11 art, de la musique et de la Iitterature— toutes ces choses ont fait de vous une personne que l'on n'oubliera facilement pas. Pour ceux qui vous connaissent, vous etes devenu plus qu'un professeur; nous savons que vous etes une personne a qui on peut se confier, de qui on peut demander du conseil, avec qui on peut partager ses reves et ses aspirations. Bien qu'il soit possible que nous ne comprenions ni appreciions votre interet sincere a notre bien-etre, nous estimons vos opinions parce que nous savons qu'elles viennent de vos experi- ences variees et personnelles. Quelquefois vous nous conseillez de ne pas faire ce que nous voulons parce que vous savez bien que ce n'est pas bon pour nous et vous vous en inquietez.
