Picture and deadline N 9' Y' A EDITORS AND ADVISORS L to R K hlman thad D bs W J Ne so 1 '14 l I 1 f ii f2 f . 5 Things were different this year as far as the staff of the Wing and Spur was concerned. There were two Editors-in-chief Debby Gibbs and Roger Rogers to shoulder the burden. Their assistant editors were: Margaret Cantlay Literary- Arleen Nidositko Art- Jeanne Nelson Photography- Pat Barney Typing- Mary Lou Elliott Proof- reading- and Laura Cassese Business Manager. As soon as these were chosen additional staff members were selected and the work began. Writing copy doing art work making photography schedules planning layouts and getting ads were a few of the numerous tasks the staff had to cope with. The beginning of March brought a Junior staff of seven members into being. They were recruited to help us and also to help them in their book next year. It was a big job and a tiring one but the fun balanced the headaches. Many many thanks' go the faculty advisors: Miss Kuhlman Mr. Southard, Mr. Gravesj and Mr. Heist, without whose patience and perserverance, this book would not'have been published. IO

The make-up staff has charge ot writing head- lines, proot-reading copy, and assembling a dummy. The business divisions include the typists, who prepare copy for the printers, the circulation crew that sells the paper, and the advertising staff that solicits and arranges the ads for the paper. The Whisp statf greatly appreciates the guid- ance given them by Mr. Carl Monk, their faculty ad- visor. dents of the school. There are four divisions: the Co- editors-in-chief, Barbara Bruno and Michael Wasser- man, the news and feature editors,Joan Arcari and Eleanor Williams, respectively, managing editor, Bar- bara Welch, business manager, Virginia Foglia and Brigid Gannon, and Advertising editor, Peter Heidt- mann.
