Although '76- '77 members of our R.O.fl'.C. unit found themselves severed from all formal from H.I.S.D., under the leadership of Captain Edward they managed to maintain their unit here at Westbury very active year. Despite the inconvenience of the way to Lee High School every day which cut the most dedicated, the unit was upgraded from a CNational Defense Cadet Corpsj to a full-fledged fJu- nior Division Reserve Officers Training Corpsj unit as guards for the Rebellettes at football games, ur- ing notorious Bellaire Night, and performed several duties.
