A small, very active group on campus this year was the Red Cross, which serviced the community mainly during the holiday seasons. At Thanksgiving they worked at Golden Age Manor, providing turkeys, at Christmas they made stockings for the Texas Institute of Rehabilitation and Research childreng on Valentinefs Day they had a party for the elderly at Westbury Place, on Easter it was eggs and baskets for the children at T.I.R.R. o 4 President, Ann Maybry. nf. The highlight of the year was a trip to Dallas on March 3 to attend a fashion course. The banquet was held May 10 at the Great Mine Company.

Westbury 's Chapter of O. E. A. I Office Education Associationj is made up of Vocational Office Education students who go to school until noon and then work in private industries. This association provided food baskets for the needy on Thanksgiving and Christmas brunch for the faculty. In April there was the annual employerfemployee banquet and the beginning of recruitment for the next year. The local, state, and national contests occupied the entire spring. The National O. E.
