The highlight of the year was a trip to Dallas on March 3 to attend a fashion course. The banquet was held May 10 at the Great Mine Company.

The main activity of Westburyis FTA fFuture Teachers of Americaj this year was the Texas Future Teachers Convention, held in San Antonio and sponsored by the Texas State Teachers Association. A small, very active group on campus this year was the Red Cross, which serviced the community mainly during the holiday seasons. At Thanksgiving they worked at Golden Age Manor, providing turkeys, at Christmas they made stockings for the Texas Institute of Rehabilitation and Research childreng on Valentinefs Day they had a party for the elderly at Westbury Place, on Easter it was eggs and baskets for the children at T.I.R.R. o 4 President, Ann Maybry. nf.
