The speech mob, organized under the title .F.L. fNational Forensic Leaguej, spent the year competing in speech tournaments and tougher still, hosting speech tour- naments. Three major meets were held here at Westbury, and the members de- serve medals for their work in this area. However, the hardware came from tour- naments in which they competed: elev- en people to State, Keith Gibbons to National, Sweepstakes at District - trophies down to the last week of school. Six debaters were offered schol- arships at Baylor.
