One of the most desperate groups on campus operated from Room 119 and produced Westburyis monthly newspaper, The Rebel Yell. Once technicians found out how to please Bertha, a hissing, snarling press locked in a closet on the third floor, the task of turning out a prize-winning newspaper was merely impossible - no longer lethal. Students learned that with a newspaper there is only the fight - always the fight. There is no end. Members informed the UIL that The Rebel Yell is here to stay - and Westbury is glad. ll. l David Harpole and Melanie Best, co-editors, with Mrs. Brian. X A Hey, you wanna see sumthin'?
