It was a turbulent year for everyone concerned with Westburyis least honored, most voluminous publication, Citadel. Cramped somewhat by the loss it took on the Bicentennial yearbook, the staff cautiously approached the 1976-77 book with an eye to economy. The members decided to economize on work: nobody worked unless it was necessary, and then only at the very last minute. The early deadlines were reached on time, but in May the process broke down. It took day and night drudgery to make up for the goofing off that became habitual earlier in the year. The cooperation of the faculty was something the staff learned to live without. Mr. Dunkin was often helpful with photography, but nobody but NOBODY volunteered to get out in front of the camera. The most ridiculous people to get along with were the prima donnas - the popular kids who want to be on every page of the book but refuse to pose for pictures.
