Electric excitement surged the halls ot Westbury High School during the vveek ot October 21-25, more commonly known as Bellaire Week. A surprising feat performed by the Rebel Guards vvas noted and acclaimed as they recovered Johnny Reb and brought him safely home - from Lamar, not Bellaire! Other activities that occurred included the annual Pep Rally at Godwin Park and Pep Rally in the auditorium. The vveek was highlighted by a daring escabade by the Westbury GAF. Flight Crew. On the night of October 24, 1974, streaking became a thing ot the past. The new mode was Bomb Bellaire from the air. lt was a lovv-level flight, but a high-level prank that won the hearts of the police and the press. Naturally, Citadeltlad a photographer on board as the plane svvooped low over Bellaire l-ligh, as it evaded a helicopter, and as it landed at Hobby. We also had a photographer in the car on the way to the station house, and later behind bars, and the next day at a pep rally, where all took their places in history.
