My heartiest congratulxdnn and best wishes for the future to every grad- uate! Your success will be tempered by the thought expressed in these words of an unknown author:WThe most powerful things in the world are in- visible---honor, character, love, electricity, and your power to visu- alize and make dreams come true.u Carl S. Ingebrigtson Superintendent Board of Education The authority for establishing the policies of the school rests with the Board of Education. They de- termine the financial and educa- tional needs, and provide facili- ties for the school. Election to the board is an honor and a major responsibility. They serve without pay, hold regular monthly meetings, and also special meetings Whenever the need arises. Two of the most important items of busin ss confronting the board during the schodlyear are the hir- ing of the faculty and other school employees, and levying the taxes that operate the school. Ed. Kleven, Francis Anderson, T.V. Peterson, Clifford Peterson, Oliver Kleven, Carl Ingebrigtson, Ancil Budolfeon. 6

It is our sincere hope that you, the members of the class of 1955, have acquired throughout your high school years the desire to continuously broaden your spheres of knowledge. May you always use this knowledge to sense the values in life that will enable you and your society ever to reach greater satisfacdnns and high- er levels of living. May you always realize that knowledge is so essen- tial to living in a democracy, and that you are the leaders in its perpetuation. Best wishes for a full and happy life, a life of service and acc om- plishment. Charles R. McCoy Principal Student Council The Student Council was organized to promote the general welfare of' the school, and to create closer co-operation between the students and the faculty. Our purpose is to promote and maintain school spirit, and to plan and carry on the student activities, one of which was an all school party.
