ARNOLD D. OLIVER Superintendent I should like to take this opportunity to wish you suc- cess in your future endeavors. I should, also, like to remind you that you are going forth from our school community into a larger community. I hope that we have done our job well enough so that you will quickly adjust to your new environment. I hope that each of you will remember what you have learned in your school, in your community and in your home. Remember that you will be represent- ing all three in the years ahead. I am sure that you will be missed, but we shall take pride in your achievements. We hope that you will always re- member your high school. I hope that we have left a permanent mark on you. I am sure that you have left one on us. Your contributions to us will probably live as long as our school. JAMES M. SULLIVAN Principal To the class of 1970, I offer my congratulations on your graduation. At the time of this writing, I have known you for a very short time, but I have been impressed by what I have come to know about you and the other students and staff here at Westbrook. As your years at our high school come to an end, I hope that you recognize that what you have learned here may not only make for a better life for you, but that contribu- tions by you may improve someone else's life. The very best to you in the future. Xi fi
