Eg 22 Three hundred years ago the first American high g? gg. school -- the Boston Latin School -- was founded. .22 22: It was established in 1635 only fifteen short years 225 EE - after the landing of the Pilgrims. From a small ?? 522. beginning with one instructor and a handful of zgg. gg students has grown the splendid service now provided 22 ii for more than 6,000,000 young Americans by 26,000 Eg E' public and private high schools. These schools are 'E E2 ' developing the most precious resource of our EE 225 nation, the latent intelligence of our young people. EE QQ It is worth noting that social progress in the EE A55 A United States is following swiftly on the heels of EE, the remarkable expansion of educational opportunity at the high school level. .
