From the nerve-wracking auditions of early autumn to the often hilarious, always pleasure-filled outing at Mr. Bryant's farm, the year of the Chorus mem- bers is a busy one. This season in addition to the annual appearances at local service clubs, the Chorus proudly revived a yearly custom at Vlfestbrook - the early spring campus concert. Assistance was extended on this occasion by the dance group and the Faux Pas. Chorus officers are Carolyn Stevens, President, Sibyl Nye, Secretary, Martha WVentWorth, Librarian, and Martha Lee johnson, Assistant Librarian. Mr. Marshall Bryant, director of the Chorus, is assisted by Mr. Richard Roberts, accompanist. .ii

For the past several years, this informal group of songsters, under the distinguished direction of Mr. Richard Roberts, has achieved considerable acclaim. Their original arrange- ments and distinctive a cappella style account for much of their popularity. In the 1963-64 season the Faux Pas have sung at a number of events both on and off campus. As the Tower goes to press the group looks forward to an appearance on an all-Maine college television program and an exciting performing trip to the New York World's Fair.
