A supper ride this spring, a rummage sale, and horseshow on May Weekend, in which the girls displayed their riding skills, were three interesting club activities. Martha Morse, President, Mary Bird, Vice-President, Brenda Milbery, Secretary, Beverly Clough, Treasurer, and Mrs. john McGowan, Club Advisor, led the club onward for an enjoyable year.

Basketball All - Stars kj N This year an All-Star Team started varsity basketball on a new trend at W.I.C. Contrary to the schedule of previous years, inter-house basketball started earlier and ran over a longer period of time. The students who participated in this inter-house competition were under careful observation to be chosen for the All-Star Team. On the team were Gretchen Bosendahl, Linda Darling, Dede Bullard, Lu Jenson, Gail Wilkes, julie McCarthy, Ian Sayward, Cindy Chaffee, Linda Whitney, Nancy Bushey, Pam Evans, and Paula Iohnson. Among the competing teams were Plymouth State Teachers' College and Colby Junior College. The team was coached by Miss Jean Gilmore and Miss Nancy Gilman. fill

The Retailing Club is organized each year to help retailing majors understand this broad and interesting Held. The club also welcomes students of other courses to join. Monthly meetings are held in Alumnae Lounge where the sixty members discuss future programs and events of the club. The annual fashion show, presented by the club and sponsored by I. E. Palmer, is the principal event of the year. Other activities include a special Christmas party, a spring dance, and numerous speakers who discuss good grooming, proper posture, and poise. Oflicers this year are Barbara Williamson, President, Elizabeth Iohnston, Vice- President, Susan Walton, Secretary-Treasurer, Amity Pierce, social chairman, Iudith Cree and Ruth Schuessler, assistants to the social chairman.
