CHRISTMAS. WEEKEND 3 H, EAE. ff y Q Q A 1' What could set a more delightful atmosphere for this year's Christmas weekend than Mistletoe Mist. Even the weather was cooperative. This year, for the first time, a buffet and a dance were held at the Eastland Hotel, which was beautifully decorated to suit the theme of the weekend. Of course, there were many house parties and the traditional carol sing was held on the mall. The carol sing is perhaps one of the most memorable events held on campus. There is a true feeling of togetherness and a memory firmly imprinted on every Westbrook student's mind. 84

3 5, VY is This weekend exemplifies the unity of the Westbrook family of parents, instructors, administration, and students. Everyone has an opportunity to mingle and to know one another better. The weekend festivities began with an auction of faculty services on Friday. Then Saturday morning a coffee hour given by President and Mrs. Blewett at Hollister House set the mood of friendliness so typical of Westbrook Junior College. The traditional talent show was given, thoroughly enioyed by all, and of course there was the smoker competition, helping to end the weekend with excitement and fond memories. 83
