The vocal group of Westbrook Junior College was organized in 1957 for the purpose of providing musical entertainment for Westbrook and other groups outside the campus. They called themselves the Faux Pas, and since that time they have grown increasingly in popularity. The Faux Pas are under the direction of Mr. Richard Roberts who arranges their music and schedules their appearances. They have been kept very busy this year singing for the Retailers' Fashion Show, the Christmas Formal, Parents' Weekend, Winter Carnival, May Weekend, and many ot? campus performances for the Woodford's Club, the Portland Club, and the Longfellow P. This year the Glee Club has added much to the W.J.C. Convocation series by its weekly vocal renditions. Everyone has enioyed this new glee club activity. Under the direction of Mr. Bryant and accompanied by Mr. Roberts the Glee Club elected as their president, Sandra Ross, secretary, Donna Anderson, librarian, Earlene Foster.
