Co-operation and friendship are the key words in Houghton Hall. The close- ness of freshmen and seniors is very important and this has been shown time ancl again by their participation in the activities on the campus. The many sorrows and ioys that have been shared by this group of girls will remain in their minds and hearts for many years after graduation. The otticers of Houghton are Adrienne Cyr, president, Sue Clapper, vice-presi- dent, Gerry Brockway, secretary, and Shirly Abbott, treasurer. They have done many things to make Mrs. Hill, their house director, very proud of them and have proved that, even though they are a large dorm, they can work together as a team. There are few things that these girls will forget. Playing bridge . . . ordering pizza . . . studying . . . Lu's antics . . . Sue's singing in the shower . . . long talks about troubles with books and boys. 58
