Proud of their ability to participate in all campus activities, the Hersey girls are a group with an endless amount of energy. They elected as their house offi- cers: Beth Kendall, president, Sandy DeCiccio, vice-president, Polly Pugsley, treas- urer, and Carol Williams, secretary. They have done many things to make Mrs. Hill, their house director, very proud of them and have proved that, even though they are a large dorm, they can work together as a team. There are few things that these girls will forget. Playing bridge . . . ordering pizza . . . studying . . . Lu's antics . . . Sue's singing in the shower . . . long talks about troubles with books and boys. 58

The girls elected as their house oflicers: president, Diane Heywood, vice-president, Bobby Spinner, and secretary-treasurer, Barbara Knies. They were represented in many of the activities on the campus. Pizza . . . Who wants to play cards? . . . Do you now who's pinnedfl . . . There are many things that the girls will remember long after they have parted and gone their separate ways. Seniors will remember these girls and their original costumes during orientation. 57

Co-operation and friendship are the key words in Houghton Hall. The close- ness of freshmen and seniors is very important and this has been shown time ancl again by their participation in the activities on the campus. The many sorrows and ioys that have been shared by this group of girls will remain in their minds and hearts for many years after graduation. The otticers of Houghton are Adrienne Cyr, president, Sue Clapper, vice-presi- dent, Gerry Brockway, secretary, and Shirly Abbott, treasurer.
