The election of Senior Class Officers was one of the first activities on the agenda for the class of 1961. The results of the election: Sally Ramslourg, president: Penny Marsaw, vice-presidentf Claire Bellegarde, secretaryp Mary Anne Barretta, treasurer. With this election came the realization that we were all seniors and in ten short months we would graduate. lt was a happy thought but sad too as it marks the end of our student life at W.J.C. The next time we return it would be as Alumnae. Before we had turned around twice the Christmas Dance was upon us. Almost half a year gone! Then came finals in January with much to our pleasant sur- prise, thirty-six seniors on Dean Bond's prized list. Our next step was Bermuda or for those who preferred native land, Fort Laud- erdale. For the perennial skier there was North Conway or Stowe. All too soon May Weekend and then graduation came. As we tried on our caps and gowns many pensive faces were observedp but the excitement of Senior Week brightened us all and we looked forward to Commencement with enthusiasm. l 5 1 l
