N EW BUS A newly acquired addition to the campus of Westbrook Junior College is the gray and maroon bus which has performed many services since its arrival in the Fall. To Glee Club programs, to basketball games and to week-ends at the farm, it has carried many students. . In reality, the bus has come to be regarded as a new and wonderful friend to the girls who have been offered its services. Since it was originally purchased for the Outing Club, it is only natural that that organization has received its most outstanding help- fulness. On many Saturday mornings whether sunny or rainy, a familiar sight to the whole campus is the bus pulling to a stop before Hersey or the gymnasium. The doors of various dorms open and students dressed in dungarees and sport shirts race toward the bus whose doors stand open awaiting their entrance. In anticipation of a few de- lightful days of relaxation, the Outing Club members climb on board. The doors close and in hardly any time at all, the bus with its merry-making occupants turns into College Street. Stopping at the end for a second it turns onto Stevens Avenue. The week-end has begun, for the Westbrook Junior College bus is steering a course straight for Westbrook Acres.
