Our spirit shone forth when we won first prize with A Typical Houghton Girlm at stunt night . . . and took second prize with a Day at the Farm at the Halloween party. Miss Farren and Miss Toussaint surprised us with several parties. Remember the night that part of the Colby' octect harmonized in the smoker? We can't forget our pets - the cat, where did it disappear to? Betsyls lion that wanted to be in the clog show . . .Jane's little Dave . . . Ardie's real live Dollie . . . Mary Lou's pet garter . . . and, of course, those frisky mice. Tell me, are you in cohoots? Can't you hear Martha as Madame Butterfly, one of her many roles? . . . or the strains of From the Halls of Montezuma floating down from the third Hoot? . . . ancl that soft clanging as a result of Fisha's itchy finger? And didn't Ardie make a jolly Santa at the Christmas party? It isn't every house that has its own sweater shop or bicycles. Must mention our transfer, Debbie, who kept us in stitches so many times. Hope our only freshman, Rickey, will carry on the spirit of Houghton next year. Our engaged mem- bers, Jo and Fletch will soon become Mrs. Willis and Mrs. Robinson. Can't forget our pinned member, Ella, who made a wonderful house president. HOUGHTON HALL
