HOUSE ASSISTANCE COMMITTEE The House Assistance Committee, commonly known around the campus as the baby- sitters, consists of senior girls chosen by Dr. Proctor, Miss Carter, and the faculty mem- bers. Upon being selected, each girl must be ready to assume her share of the responsibility. The members of this committee are chosen for their leadership ability and are given the opportuntiy to assist housemothers with dormitory duties. The campus babysitters have brought rest and joy to weary housemothers this year. Also, the girls have helped Miss Billings by acting as student hostesses. As such they show prospective Westbrook students and their parents around the campus.
