Field trips. experiments, and rliscussimis he-lp fit members of the Science Club for iinportzint service tu the conummlty. THE SCIENCE CLUB Although still one of the more recently developed of the clubs on campus, the Science Club is one of the most progressive. An executive board works in conjunction with the club's ofhcers to insure greater success within the organization. The officers were: Dorothy Grinnell, president, Patricia Markowitz, vice-president, Beverly Morris, treasurer, and Judith Westaway, secretary. Among the activities of the club was a trip to Harvard Museum in Boston. More than half a dozen films were sponsored by the Science Club this past year on such sub- jects as heating, reproduction, television, and fluorescent lighting. Another field trip made by the members of the club was a visit to one of the more prominent hospitals in the vicinity for the medical students. This gave the students a chance to visualize the type of work they would soon be doing. The Science Fair which was such a success in 1950 was again presented. This year there were exhibits displayed by the students in chemistry, bacteriology, zoology, anatomy, psychology, and physiology.
