GOING PLATINUM It ' s not what people look like, or what they wear, or even who they hang around with that makes them spe- cial. It ' s what they do, how they react, what they say, Bruce Ledoux prepares for gradu- ation a year early on the night of the talent show. and in what they partici- pate that makes them unique people. That ' s what this, the first section of our year- book, is all about. It ' s we, the students, in our daily lives. It ' s what we exper- ience, how we react, and how we learn to grow from all that we accomplish. The activities portrayed in the following pages make us what we are in terms of a student body. Our student life, as a whole, is outstanding; and because of this, our record is going platinum.

Senior Spirit The dreary weather didn ' t dam- pen the spirit of the school ' s newest senior class as the first Senior Breakfast got under way at Ab- dow ' s. The class of ' 86 had just fin- ished school, and we were eager to take over. The waitresses looked to- w ard the door with distressed ex- pressions on their faces as we all plowed in. Everyone crammed into the tables with their friends, and the chowing began. We have to admit, we were a bit rowdy. After the man- ager proceeded to yell at the whole group, which filled the entire back of the restaurant, students gradually started to leave. Abdow ' s wasn ' t thrilled with us to say the least. On the way back to the school, ro- tary traffic was held up by soon-to- be seniors. There was even an article about it in the next day ' s paper! When we arrived, we proceeded to take over the senior balcony as our first demonstration of senior spirit. Heather, Amy, Patti, and Sharon, wait- ing to be seated.
