After twenty years as Superin- tendent of Schools in Westbor- ough, Dr. Edward Kelleher is retir- ing. Over his many years as Super- intendent he has overseen many improvements in the Westbor- ough school system. During his ad- ministration, the present Senior High School and the Hastings Ele- mentary School were built, as well as an addition to the Junior High School. Many new programs have been introduced at the High School, such as new athletic pro- grams, the AP program, a comput- er education program, SCAT, and departmentalization. The guid- ance and pupil personnel system has been greatly expanded. The school budgeting system and the teacher evaluation have been rec- ognized by the Department of Edu- cation. As he leaves the Westbor- ough school system for retire- ment, we would like to express our gratitude for all he has done for us.
