Yearbook Staff After selecting the yearbook staff in April, 1983, the challenge of find- ing a theme arose. We decided a fair- ytale was a fresh idea. So to promote unity on the staff, we took a trip to Newport, R. I. last May. Instead of bringing us closer, we drifted further apart. In the midst of the confusion, our theme changed from a fairy tale to a magazine format. Mr. Kaplan is still waiting for us to change our minds again. We feel this format is appropriate today because of the great impact the media has on our lives. We give special thanks to Sue Torres, our business editor, who sold all the ads ahead of schedule, Mark Langston and Kelly Sieger, photography edi- tors, who supplied us with enough pic- tures to make the book work, and Kathi Matuzek and Maureen Hens- ley, art editors, for helping us meet the deadlines. Without the help of Mr. Kaplan, this book wouldn ' t have come together. (Thanx Bob!) Your editors, Sue and John
