Zhe Cotton Q ' m $me, 1959 Zkcme famous Tirsts We ' ve had many firsts and famous they seem, And that is why Famous Firsts is our theme. Our Senior Class will be famous when we say good-by. As the first to spend a year in the new Westboro High. Here ' s something that we have managed to do: We now have SCHOOL rings, so different and new. We will remember the first Prom in our new gym, An event which in our eyes will never grow dim. The motorcade after the Prom was something new, A tradition which we hope others will continue. An event which we will not forget very soon Was our Senior Dance and its theme, Harvest Moon. Our Senior Play will be remembered for many an age As the first and the finest on the new high school stage. This year basketball, A most thrilling sport, Will have its premiere on our brand new court. When you have put this yearbook away. We hope these firsts in your mem ' ry will stay.
