Well, only n1ne more years to go and here we were ln the fourth grade, or was th1s old Hawau'P M1ss Gleason thought that sxnce we were studymg Hawail we would get more out of It 1f we learned some native songs and dances You know what that meant' A hula dance, complete w1th dancmg glrls and nat1ve drummers' Y Our drummers were Francms Trank and Stephen Tyler The hula gxrls were Bess1emae Nava, Lenlce Krull Loretta Butterfxeld, Bernadette Lxlley .Toan Fourmer and Ann Forsberg Here lt must be mentioned that Ann was the envy of all the other girls She had the only genuine grass slurt 1n the group You should have remembered g1rls that It s what you put 1nto '1 thmg that counts And so another year passed and we now cons1dered ourselves among the el1te of the grammar school crowd After all we were 1n the f1fth grade on the second floor School was sl1ghtly hect1c th1s year As a matter of fact we left our mark 1n the form of an enormous staxn ln the mlddle of the ce1l1ng Yes on the cellmg How d1d It get there?
