Semor Prophecy We had a few weeks vacatlon whlch we declded to spend looklng up our old school mates from Westboro H1gh We d1dn t know where to f1nd all of them as you can tell after readmg tlus Here are a few pages of our d1ary wh1ch w1l1 tell you of our tr1p December l 1975 Tuesday As we got off the plane there was Congressman Plul Hogue wa1t1ng for us He had brought along several reporters and cameramen We had our plctures taken agamst the background of VOTE FOR CONGRESSMAN HOGUE Ph1l took us to lus mans1on where he gracxously served us lunch and then gave us a bnef account of the whereabouts of all the Sen1ors of Westboro H.1gh of 1955 He told us of the tragedy of Amta Mulhns She had had a very unhappy marrlage and f1nal1y had dzsappeared w1th no trace left We caught a rught plane and left for New York December 3 1975 Thursday We landed 1n New York where Pat Henmng met us and took us to her eXql11S1te mans1on She was well known to the world because of the huge amount of money she possessed She was a hlghly S0ph1St1CBted soc1ety leader 1n New York and the ent1re country for that matter After leav1ng Pat we went to the Waldorf Astona Hotel to spend the mght December 4 1975 Fnday We started our search for Joe Sparks Butch Mather and Joyce Clement We found Joyce f1rst She had made a b1g success of herself 1n New York She was a well known psych1atr1st We talked to her and she sa1d Butch was a sewer worker and Joe Sparks a gangster To fznd Joe would be a tough Job as he had changed h1s name to Ruthless Sparks but for h1s 1dent1f1cat1on we would have to go to the post 0ff1CCS and we would see h1s p1cture posted everywhere We then left Joyce 1n search of Butch We found h1m 1n a manhole 1n the street Butch has changed completely He was much shorter and was very fat We v1s1ted h1m for someume and then went to h1s apartment for dznner We were very surpnsed to f1nd Butch l1v1ng 1n Ea st New York He hved 1n a shabby tenement house w1th h1s w1fe and 15 ch1ldren Butch 1nformed us the la st t1me he had seen Joe was when he came tryzng to borrow S200 from h1m We thanked Butch for the tasteless meal and mformatlon on Joe and then returned to our hotel but the po11ce had no 1dea where he could be We searched for Joe and about 6 00 p m we found h1m ln lus h1deout He told us of h1s hfe s1nce leav1ng Westboro He had been marr1ed seven t1mes he thought He told us lt could have been more but he wasn t sure Anyway each w1fe had d1vorced h1m because of h1s 111 nature We left Joe and as we were wallung past the Stork Club we heard a beaut1ful s1nger We went 1nto the Stork Club and lt was Loulse Hall s1ng1ng After she was through s1ng1ng we went back to her dress1ng room and had a long v1s1t w1th Loulse She sa1d lt was very thr1ll1ng to be a s1nger and she had a d1fferent escort every mght December 7 1975 Monday We landed 1n Wash1ngton D C J1m Barlow a very suc cessful banker met us He took us to h1s house and after lunch we v1s1ted w1th J1m and J1m told us he saw J D Chnlungbeard Elame Edwards and Colleen W1nstead often We stayed 1n the cap1tal c1ty that mght and the next morn1ng J1m took us down to J D s off1ce J D was a very busy man and lt was hard to obta1n spealung perm1ss1on from lus recephomst Carolyn Henn and lus w1fe and secretary Beverly Edwards J D was a very mlxed up man He was very plump and had grown sour through the years He told us he lntended to someday follow 1n the footsteps of E1senhower We left J D to take a tour 1n J1m s bank As we were walklng through the beaut1fu11y pohshed halls we heard a rough command1ng vo1ce lt was Ela1ne Edwards She was now boss of J1m s scrubwomen She very proudly told us how she had worked herself up from scrubwoman to the head of the scrubwomen She had had a hard hfe as her husband was 111 and to ex1 st she had taken the scrubwoman Job We went next to a mattress manufactunng plant Colleen was a mattress tester She 51-nd lt was Q restful Job Colleen wa sn t marned and she expla1ned to us that th1s was the most restful Job she could thmk of I . . , .
