A. H. MARTIN 1fz1'wfk1fQvf1'f1ffb17 Greetings-Class of 1947 ANOTHER YEAR has passed, and for the majority ot the members oi the Class of 1947, twelve successive years have been spent in our public schools, where you have been awaiting one of the hap- piest days ol your lives, the receiving of your coveted marks of distinction, your diplomas. High School graduation is highly prized by all, and to many it surpasses the thrills and delights ot a College or University Sheepskin. High School days will linger longer in the minds ot young men and women than any other school days. Com- mencement Night is the pinnacle ot your eitorts and success in public school work. Then the dawn of a new day approaches with new and heavier responsi- bilities before you. I hope and trust that a solid foundation has been laid for you so that you may continue to build ever upward and onward toward higher goals of success. Respectfully yours, TO YOU, the members of the Class ot l947, our best wishes tor success in the future. In the few years we have spent together we have tried, in our school community, to prepare you to step into a larger community-a community which is now the world, perhaps some day one world. It we have aided you to develop the ability to think straight, to make in- telligent decisions, to realize the potency ol truth, we shall have started you on your way to being a better citizen oi a better world. .Wi Principal Page 9 Supervising Principal P.
