LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT We, the 1961 graduating class of West Yadkin High School realize that our days as a class are soon at an end. Realizing this we hereby bequeath our cherished possessions to those who follow in our footsteps. ITEM I To Mr. Wright and the faculty we bequeath our sincere Thanks for the efforts they made in vain to pierce our craniums in order to inject something called Education. ITEM II To the Jtmiors, the Senior Class bequeaths its Senior Dignity and its place in assembly. ITEM III To the Sophomores, the Senior Class bequeaths its excess knowledge. ITEM IV To the Freshmen, the Senior Class bequeaths its love for the ten-minute break each morning. Signed and sealed by the Senior Class of 1961 as their last will and testament. In our presence and in the presence of each other, we hereunto affix our hands and signatures as witnesses. CODICIL I, the Testator namedin the annexed and foregoing will, do hereby affix their Codicil. 'I, Becki Allred, bequeath my Best All Around to Dinah Sprinkle. I, Larry Allred, bequeath my motto, If at first you don't succeed, try, try again, to someone who may need use of it. I, Sammy Allred, bequeath my voice to Benny Coram. I, Ruby Arnold, bequeath to all Juniors the enjoy- ment that I have had of the 12th grade. I, Bobby Ashley, bequeath my good grades and bus to Larry Renegar. I, Michael Barron, bequeath my bus to anybody who is deaf. I, Janice Bell, bequeath my bus to anybody who will have it. I, Mary Lou Bell, bequeath my position as editor of THE EAGLE to Vonda Groce. I, June Blevins, bequeath my position as manager of the basketball team to Kay Brown. I, Dwight Brown, bequeath my ability to read books to Bennie Wiles. I, Jean Brown, bequeath my position as pincher of the Monogram Club to Vena Carpenter in hopes she will do more pinching than I did. I, Lorene Brown, bequeath my heighth to Jane Nixon. I, Doris H.Carter, bequeath my locker and the long walk to it to Linda Bray. I, Donald Caudle, bequeath my title as Unscrupu- lous goof-off to Ronnie Swaim, I, Mary Chaffin, bequeath my love for U. N. C. to anyone who loves it as much as I do. I, Bobby Collins, bequeath my mischievous ways to Larry Harpe. I, Betty Dillard, bequeath my ability to get along with teachers to anyone who needs it. I, Peggy Dillard, bequeath my algebra book to Lynn Long. I, Alma S. Dobbins, bequeath my married life to Janice Henderson. I, Sue Doss, bequeath my ability to go to Yadkinville to Peggy Ireland.
