After four years in high school we feel proud to be seniors. Now the time has come for each one of us to be thinking of the future and leave West Yadkin with fond memories of studying and learning. We are the citizens of tomorrow and what we do now shall determine the kind of nation we will have to live in. We saw the beginning of a new era in education at West Yadkin, an era of new building, a business course, 3rd year Home Economics, and at last a cafeteria. We deeply appreciate the advice and teaching, that you, the teachers have passed on to us. We have had a pleasant task as well as a tough task, but still we have enjoyed each moment of it. We sincerely hope we leave fond mem- ories of our class to our teachers and fellow students. We know that our nation shall be strong and free as long as there are schools that uphold the American ideals as West Yadkin does. ' 41'
