Foreword Time is a Fatal Hand that alters in both man and nature what is familiar to us. For us, the Class of 1956, the years at West Winfield High have come and gone. And so, in these pages of The Maotheon, we have tried to save from the remorseless grasp of Time these scenes that are so precious to us. When deciding on a title for our yearbook, we chose HTHE MAOTHEONM because we were able to blend into one word fragments from the names of the counties in our school district.
