W LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT We, the Class of 1953 of the West Winfield Central School in the County of Herkimer and State of New York, being of sound mind and memory, do make, publish and declare this our last WILL AND TESTAMENT, in manner following that is to say: - To the Junior Class, we leave our sympathy! To Miss Wing, we leave the balance of our treasury to be used for the purchase of a Handy-Dandy Sherlock Holmes Kit. Linda Crumb leaves her reserved disposition to be equally divided among Betsy Boorn, Joan Cala, and Theresa Mariotti. Dave Bouck leaves his bass fiddle to Jack Bellows. To Mrs. Counsell and Mr. Steeves, we leave a set of Dick Tracy two-way wrist radios. Viola Singer leaves her little black book to anyone with an interest in the Armed Forces. Fred King leaves the board which he uses to reinforce the hack of his neck so he may sit on it better to Ronnie Schwartz. Bill Jones, Kent Hansel, and Phil Dunckel leave their collection of pocketbooks to Miss Kelly. Larry Brooks leaves his newly edited book, Safe Driving on Back Roads, to .lohn Salamone. Irene leaves her typewriter to the repairman. Betty Ann leaves Basic Art to the Basic Artists. Carol Rice leaves the Navy to Potter and Co. Bob Salisbury leaves his elevator shoes to J ack Kilty. Fred Igel leaves his ability to resist women to Dick Matthews. Dick Kennedy leaves his deep voice to Donald Fenton. Marilyn Nolan leaves Mr. Weaver a little peace. Doris leaves class financial worries to Evelyn Huntley. Maggie Mariotti leaves her cowboy records to anyone who can stand them. Roger Slaughter leaves his cars to the junkpile. Lillian and Edna leave their twin fashions to Mary Jo and Rosemarie. Janice Atwell leaves the ability to be absent and get A's to Bill Naylor. Eleanor Lonis, Bonnie Young, and Virginia Brewer leave Mr. Steubing a bottle of Tint-Air to cover up the gray hairs they have given him! Karen Mills leaves her Horror Comics to Mr. Roberts to while away the lonely evening hours. Shirley Gates leaves her good art marks to Ricky. Suzanne leaves Journeymen rehearsals without a regret. Dick Casler leaves his mid-morning snacks to Ronnie Roberts. Arleigh Fikes leaves his trips to VanHornesville to Bruce DeGray. Russ leaves his ability to catch the bus to Walter Burney. Jeni leaves her brat parts in plays to Nancy Young. Harold leaves Pennsylvania and Brotherly UD Love to the Quakers. Nancy leaves her French compositions to future etudients. Sam leaves a wish for good fortune to all his teachers-past and present. Joanne Yaw leaves her athletic sweaters to the Red Cross. Bob Steeves leaves Mrs. Carson in the care of the competent employees of Shady Haven Rest Home. Eddie Wiencek leaves his slightly used Driver's Manual to anyone who can read it. Dick Pritchard leaves his shoes to the Freshman rowing team. Bonnie Atwell leaves John a watering pot to keep his memory green. Cassie leaves her collection of waxed corsages for the experimentation of future biology classes. Continued on Page 9
