We may not have even greeted them when we met them in the halls because we were so accustomed to seeing them, but our principals were closer to the students of VVest View than we realized. They were always near to us, ready to help in case we needed them. They encouraged us to go on to greater heights in our school work. VVe could always depend on them for aid when our outlook on lile was a bit dim. But they also had to correct us when we got out of line. They helped to make our Alma Mater truly another home-our Other Mother. As we seniors stepped out into a seemingly cruel world, we realized the sincere effort put forth by these people to give us a good start in life as newly graduated young people. And, as we go on our way through life, we know that they will still be working with us in all we do, caring about us even though our school days are left behind but not forgotten.
