Audio Visual This group of students has made a big contribution to the school. Early in the year they learned how to run the projector and other equipment and were always on hand to show movies for the teachers. Debate Club At the end of this year, the Debate Club is able to look back on many good times. After several practice debates with Yakima, Marquette, and St. Joseph and a practice tournament at Pasco, they at- tended the tournament at Gonzaga University in Spokane. The Future Farmers of America is a national organization for boys between the ages of 14 and 21 who are studying vocational agriculture in the public high school. The Vlest Valley Chapter of the F. F. A. consists of 54 members. Their main goal is to develop better farmers of the future. They have participated in livestock judging and will con- tinue to participate in various other judging contests. The qualifications for membership are to be regularly enrolled in a vocational agricul- ture class and have satisfactory plans for a program of supervised farming and be familiar with the F. F. A. and its program of work. There are four degrees of active membership, these are: Green Hand Farmers. Chapter Farmers. State Farmer. and American Farmer. Many of the boys have received these degrees.
