A Mistletoe Memory Adds To WV Christmas Spirit UA Mistletoe Memory was chosen as the theme of the annual Pep Club Christmas dance, held on December 20, 1969. Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus CMark Matthews and Barbara Marshj greeted the guests in the Christmas tree-filled cafeteria, where g'The Art Department provided dance music. A cozy fireplace scene helped set the mood of the dance as well as provide a background for pictures. fUpper Leftj Larry Cuddy and Kathy johnson pose for pictures, CUpper Ri htj Queen Pam Farano and King Alien Rogers receive their stockings as 1969 royalty for Mistletoe Memory. J fi 4, f 1 74:44 1 A fx ASB Sponsored Sweetheart Ball First Annual Affair L'Cupid's Capers was the theme for the Sweetheart Ball held on February 14, 1970. The dance was the first to be sponsored by the Associated Student Body. Decorations of brightly colored red hearts and cupids were scattered around the room to add to the Valentine atmosphere. Pictures were taken before a background consisting of velvet colored hearts arranged in floral designs. Dance music was provided by the Revised Edition. Senior Rocky Martin was crowned as Queen with Junior Chris Crosby, and Sophomore Collen Polly as princesses. Door prizes, donated by Burch-:tt's were awarded to Val Kenney and Debbie McKelvie.
